You would never think going down Michigan Street (at about 4th Street) that the building was once "the largest terminal of it's kind in the United States." Things change. It's been a long time since 1951, and I wonder how many people remember it in its heyday.
The architecture in downtown Milwaukee is fascinating. It was influenced by the German culture and the boldness of the Industrial Era in this place. Now things change even more quickly than in previous times. I wonder if we're leaving any historical markers behind, at all.
